Aziza Ne'matova's defining question is a hacker's question: "What is behind it?" Behind the design, behind the website, behind the security, behind the cryptography. From Navoi, Uzbekistan, she has turned that curiosity into opportunity for others, founding Navoi Tech Teens — a hands-on cybersecurity program she expected to last a week, until its participants started landing in the national top-10 of a Red Team CTF and being featured by the Ministry of Digital Technologies. A national finalist for TechGirls 2024 and the first person in Central Asia to win Women in Tech's Aspiring Teen Award, she also leads as the Girls' Lead at a club under the National Cybersecurity Centre and published a paper on quantum key distribution. What makes her story resonate is its honesty: after an early rejection that left her in tears, Aziza chose to turn what was shattering her into something that nourishes her — and then built the door open for the girls coming after her.
