Nominations for the 2027 class open after the 2026 celebration closes. Anyone can nominate, and self-nominations are read exactly the same way.
A nomination is read by an editor, and by nobody else. If we take it forward we contact the nominee, verify what we can, and interview them. Where the nominee is under 18 we obtain guardian consent, and the written feature is approved by the Changemaker before it publishes.
